Welcome to Garuda Yoga

Garuda Yoga’s goal is to teach a yoga that is gentle and accessible to anyone, regardless of physical ability.  Our teachings encourage students to focus on healing and being at peace with themselves during their yoga practice. Offering classes and workshops in various locations in Western Canada, Garuda Yoga classes are all taught in the Hatha tradition with a focus on asanas, breath and meditation. Students are guided to learn and work in poses safely, with subtle physical and verbal adjustments offered when needed. Reminders to work  through the postures with compassion and to take the time needed to progress within one’s strengths & weaknesses are given throughout the classes.
